Navevo, the chosen software provider develops & own their own navigation software, providing flexibility to deploy new solutions & meet market demands more rapidly. Continuing with its ultra slim profile, stylish & lightweight design the latest Z series for release in September 2008 is no exception to the rule. The New Z Series operates with Centrality Atlas III V4 Technology- A single chipset design which integrates both GPS processor & DSP processor into one Chip. The PND needs only one single chip inside, where the design becomes more clean & compact than traditional two chipset designs. The new Chipset with its High Sensitivity GPS receiver is capable of accessing up to 30 Channels; the user can experience better performance with faster fix times & better locking of satellite signals in compromised areas. With processing seeds of up to 396MHz users can experience high performance value solutions (enhance map response, very fast POI search & route calculation) The All New Z Series is Pre-loaded with a Safety Camera Alert Feature, which has fixed locations & audible warnings for Speed & Red Light Camera & School Zones. There is no ongoing subscription charge to access this feature in the Binatone GPS Z Series The Z350 Bluetooth Premium is one step above the rest allowing the user to make & receive calls safely with an integrated Bluetooth Hands free Device. The user can access his/her Mobile Phone Directory, as each time there is a connection the PND synchronises automatically. Additional to the Z350 Bluetooth. Spoken Street names (TTS) gives the user clearer & precise Information with the names of the actual road spoken. Allowing the user to concentrate more on the road ahead while guided to the chosen destination. For e.g. In 300 m, turn Right on M4 Western Motorway. The All new Z series offers everything you need in a PND including TMC ready port (Traffic Management Control) with the addition of the appropriate receiver & an active subscription for Live Traffic updates, your Binatone GPS is equipped with the functionality for the TMC service to operate. With the responsive touch screen & user friendly menu, set the destination using Postcode, City & Address search & over a hundred thousand Pre-Installed Points of interest including Hotels, restaurants, petrol stations, parking stations, tourist attractions & many more categories... All models are upgradable by USB / SD card & international Map data is available for selected countries.
